Your Vehicle Is Your Gate Access Credential
Barcode Automation, Inc. (BAi) provides long-range Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) using two simple components: a small barcode decal attached to your vehicle and a BAi Reader installed at the gate.
Imagine, driving through the entrance of your gated community without stopping. Sounds good, doesn't it? Once BAi Readers and Decals are installed, our automatic vehicle identification systems need only a vehicle and a driver. There are no codes or cards, there are no fobs to fiddle with and certainly, there's no reason to ever put your window down. All you do is drive, that's it.
It's Technical But Not Complicated
Our automatic vehicle identification has two components: One barcode decal per authorized vehicle, and one barcode reader per lane. A BAi Barcode Decal is applied to the side of an authorized vehicle becoming a gate access credential. When that vehicle approaches the gate, the Reader will identify it automatically and accurately at speeds up to 25mph.

BAi Reader is installed next to the lane being controlled or monitored.
BAi Readers get installed next to the lane typically 15-25ft before a gate or barrier arm. -
BAi Decals are applied to the side of the vehicle.
BAi Decals get applied to the side of the vehicle typically on a rear window. -
Authorized Vehicles Simply Drive
With the Reader and Decal properly installed, all that's left to do is drive. The Reader will automatically identify the vehicle tag at speeds up to 25mph—instantly and accurately!
